Friday, we bought my daughter a new Shwinn tricycle that is BEYOND bad ass.

Made it just in time to our own birthday gathering at Bounce-a-Rama, where she had a blast jumping around with all of her cousins and friends.
Saturday, was a productive day off holiday shopping in the city. We found the sweetest mason jars, which we filled with a Mulled-Tea/ Wine mixture we found at Rainbow Grocery Co-op. We'll be pairing the jars with a case of two buck chuck we got for free from a friend. So cheap and so perfect for the holidays - a great last minute gift!
Finally Sunday, we attended my cousin's wedding in Oakland. It was gorgeous from what I could see through my mascara running eyes. Ha! But really, it was everything I'd have picture a wedding to be, the bride was glowing (although she had the added bonus of being a mother-to-be, my cousin was dressed in his full navy attire, their children were... obedient! And during the reception, everyone got their boogie on, from grandparents and teenagers to the children and babies. Not a sitting goose at this joyous occasion (which is expected of my family). Aside from that, the ceremony, the decor, food, and music were all well-selected. I can't stand these cheesy teen-age weddings that sport trashy ghetto music. The last wedding we attended played "All my life" by K-C & Jojo while the bride entered and during the reception we listened to nothing but gangster rap. It's nice to see the difference between class and trash on such extreme scales. Personally, I'd prefer music the whole family could dance to... A beautiful night it was, and it ended the weekend sweetly :)
