I played hooky today, partly because my migraines came back w/ a vengeance last night, another just to catch up on sleep, but almost entirely because I miss spending time w/ my momma girl in the morning.
This little pumpkin butt came into my bed whispering: "momma, I love you...I love you...I love you...I love you" Hahaha. Made my day :)
Man, am I one lucky momma!
We took this little one to Washington Park today, went on a nice little hike up to the pretty rose gardens to poop (Ha), then tackled a couple of beers and Bah-mi sandwiches at Double Dragon.
Ahh, I truly feel rejuvenated! Something about Double Dragon's Boneyard IPA on rotating tap makes my life feel soo complete!
PLUS - Sean and I finally got to check out a consignment store we've passed about a hundred times on Division. We found him a nice tweed vest and a plaid faux cashmere scarf. Plus books galore for miss Zoe. Today, was a productive yet relaxing day!
