First Fridays in Newberg, OR

Noun. Event in which wealthy wine country money and young entrepreneurs attend to: receive cheap alcohol, support local art, and stick their noses into other people's dirty laundry for a night.

Although, I did enjoy playing dress up with a couple of cute indie Christian girls tonight...
I'm definitely learning a lot.

One: Small local is nice, but I do not want to live like this.
Two: Wine city  = lushes.
Lushes = good for business.

Don't get me wrong, everyone loves a 'nice' small town. Who doesn't love to feel welcome?

But "a cat doesn't get fat cashing stacks in a graveyard.." or whatever that means.

It's hard to weigh the two. But I'll stick to the struggle this small "big city" of Portland has to offer. Nothing beats a good old fashion hustle.
