
They have SO many unique characteristics, behaviors, traits, even feelings that distinguish them in breed.
And while I'm not blind to the idea that each dog is different and that animals may have shared humanoid interests, the thought of full blown human-like diseases never really phased me.
I never really considered that with each of these different breeds lie gene-specific needs that if not met, will make or break them as a mixed or pure bred animal.

I feel so selfish to say that i never felt animal medicine and treatment to be as important as human medical science.
Needless-to-say, my mind has been reformed into a dog-loving-fool...
Especially after meeting this guy.
His name is Truck. He's been diagosed with a rare terminal carcinoma which I'm still unsure of. Each day with him is a blessing and I'm sure his fur-less mommy feels the same :)
